The Biology of Belief

The real challenge for the individual is to practice evolution, to learn the lessons of the old stories so we not longer need to repeat them, and to remind ourselves that the critical mass of humanity involved with this evolution will change the world from the inside out. We are living in a positive future, practicing Heaven, and designing a bridge across which the whole of humanity will walk. This is our love story-a universal love story for the entire universe: you, me, everyone, and every living organism too.

Cardinal Points welcomes artist Rob Surette who describes himself as “just a creative guy who wants to make a difference in the world.” He has a really good imagination, “it’s like a well trained muscle”, and a good intention from his heart. “Basically my heart and soul are in the right place.”  When Rob performs his school assemblies he gives the children “a show with amazing content that can reach their hearts.” With caring humility his intention is to give them something that can really make a difference in their lives. “My intent is to fill up the emptiness that kids have inside.” “It’s believing in yourself, it’s loving yourself, it’s accepting yourself, it’s forgiving yourself, it’s finding power in yourself.” Rob believes we need to align with the God energy within us. He will ask God for help frequently and encourages us all to do the same. Rob shares how he used his imagination to create and orchestrate how his meeting with the actor who plays Big Bird on Sesame Street would transpire. This encounter occurred exactly how he imagined it would. Rob recommends that we “squeeze” as much joy and love out of all that we do throughout our day. This will allow “the energy around you to change.” We then discuss how our thoughts and feelings can impact our physical health. A quote from the book The Biology of Belief  supports this notion. “Thoughts, the minds energy, directly influences how the physical brain controls the body’s physiology.” Rob’s own health challenge has enabled him to gain insights about himself. He is now inspired to create his own healing center.
